Find Your Perfect Fit

A well-fitting ring should feel comfortable, sit securely on your finger and be easy to wear throughout the day.

Follow this simple guide to find your UK ring size before ordering. You can measure your finger at home using a strip of paper, or check the diameter of a ring that already fits you well.

Method 1 — Measure Your Finger

This method measures the circumference of your finger. You will need a thin strip of paper, a pen and a ruler marked in millimetres.

  1. Prepare your paper

    Cut a thin strip of paper. Avoid thick paper or material that stretches.

  2. Wrap it around your finger

    Wrap the strip around the finger where you intend to wear the ring. It should fit snugly without being tight. If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, make sure the ring will be able to pass over it comfortably.

  3. Mark the overlap

    Mark the point where the end of the strip meets the rest of the paper.

  4. Measure in millimetres

    Unwrap the paper and measure from its starting edge to your mark using a ruler. This is your finger circumference in millimetres.

  5. Repeat the measurement

    Measure two or three times. If the results differ, repeat the process until you obtain a consistent measurement.

Measurement tip: For a more reliable result, measure towards the end of the day, when your fingers are usually closer to their normal size. Avoid measuring when your hands are unusually cold or swollen.

AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD

Method 2 — Already Own a Ring That Fits?

If you have a ring that fits the same finger comfortably, you can use it to estimate your size.

  1. Place the ring flat on a ruler.
  2. Measure the internal diameter straight across the centre of the ring, from one inside edge to the opposite inside edge.
  3. Record the measurement in millimetres.
  4. Compare the diameter with the chart below to identify the closest UK size.

Important: Measure the inside opening of the ring, not the outside edge. Do not measure the ring's circumference for this method.

Find Your UK Ring Size

Use your finger circumference or the internal diameter of a ring that fits you well to find the closest match. UK ring sizes use letters, so select the corresponding UK letter size when ordering.

On smaller screens, scroll the chart sideways to see all four columns. Keyboard users can focus the chart and use the arrow keys.

Between Two Sizes?

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Wider bands can feel tighter than narrower bands of the same nominal size. If you are choosing a wider design and fall between sizes, choosing the larger size may be more comfortable.

Your knuckle size and the shape of your finger can also affect how a ring fits. If you are unsure, contact us before ordering and we will help you decide.

A Note on Tungsten Rings

Tungsten rings cannot be resized or adjusted in the same way as many precious-metal rings. It is therefore particularly important to choose your size carefully before ordering.
